Article 1 – Data protection

The protection of your privacy when processing your personal data is an important issue that is given special attention by us in our business processes. We therefore ensure that personal data collected during the visit to our websites is processed in accordance with the legal provisions of the country in which the entity responsible for processing the data is located.

The Kallitous website may contain links to the websites of other providers to which this declaration does not apply.

Article 2 – Collection and processing of personal data

When you visit our website, our servers automatically record information such as the Internet browser and operating system you are using, the page from which you arrived at our website, the pages you visit, the date of your visit and, for security reasons (e.g. to detect possible attacks on our website), the IP address assigned by your Internet service provider. This is stored for an indefinite period of time.

With the exception of the IP address, personal information is only stored if you have agreed to provide it to us, e.g. in the context of a payment or order, registration, survey, competition or the execution of a contract.

Section 3 – Use, Disclosure and Confidentiality of Personal Data.

Kallitous uses your personal data for the sole purpose of technical administration of its site, management of customer follow-up, product surveys or marketing operations to the extent required by these activities.

The transmission of personal data to state bodies and authorities is only carried out within the framework of national legal requirements. Our employees, agencies and distributors are obliged to respect the confidentiality of the data they process.

Article 4 – Right of deletion

We would like to use your data to inform you about our products and services and, if necessary, to consult you about them. Participation in such actions is, of course, on a voluntary basis. If you do not wish to participate, you can inform us at any time so that we can process your data separately accordingly.

Article 5 – Social plugins

Kallitous uses so-called social plugins (hereinafter: buttons) linking to social networks such as Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn. When you visit our website, these buttons are deactivated by default, i.e. they do not transmit any information to the relevant social networks without your intervention. Before you can use these buttons, you must activate them with a click. They will then remain active until you deactivate them again or delete your cookies. Article 6 – Cookies

The Kallitous website uses a Google Analytics tracker, to analyze traffic and conversions. Under no circumstances are e-mails or names of persons collected. This allows us to tailor the content of our websites more specifically to your needs and improve our offer to you.

In order to better target our online marketing (e.g. banner ads) on the websites of our retargeting partners (Google Ads, Google Analytics, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram), based on your interests and needs, we also use so-called retargeting technologies.

Your personal interests in our products and services are stored in cookies which are then read when you visit the Kallitous website. This is done anonymously, i.e. you cannot be identified by the retargeting. If you do not want Kallitous to collect, store and analyze information about your visit, you can object to this at any time in the future (opt-out).

To enable this objection to be made technically, an opt-out cookie is installed in your browser. This cookie is used exclusively to identify your objection. For technical reasons, an opt-out cookie can only be used with the browser in which it was installed. If you delete the cookies or if you use another browser or another device, you will have to activate the opt-out option again.

Section 7 – Security

Kallitous applies technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data we manage from manipulation, loss, destruction or use by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are subject to continuous improvement and take into account technological developments.

Article 8 – Right to Information

Upon request, Kallitous will inform you in writing, as soon as possible and in accordance with applicable law, of the collection of your personal data and, if applicable, of its content. If, despite our efforts to ensure that the data is accurate and up-to-date, incorrect information is recorded, we will correct it at your request. If you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal data, you can contact a Kallitous employee, who will direct you to the person best suited to answer your request.

Annex 1 – GDPR

At Kallitous, we are concerned about the privacy of our Internet users and newsletter subscribers. The new legislation on data protection of the European Union (RGPD) has come into force.

It allows :
– The right of access: subscribers to our newsletters will be able to request access to their personal data and ask for what use they are used for – The right to be forgotten: subscribers to our newsletters can withdraw their consent to the use of their data by Kallitous. Simply send an e-mail to the team to unsubscribe.
– The right to data portability: subscribers to our newsletters have the right to recover their data for reuse by another service provider.
– The right to information: newsletter subscribers will be informed of any collection of data about them with their explicit consent.
– The right to notification: In the event of a data breach involving our newsletter subscribers, they will be notified within 72 hours.
